ACVC runs a Jan-Mar local club season that welcomes teams from outside of Albemarle County to participate in the tournaments. Learn more about the ACVC Select League and read below if you have an interest in forming your own team and joining us as we host several semi-local tournaments.

COST:
The cost to participate in the 2025 Select League tournaments is $750/team. This covers all 5 tournaments.

AGE DIVISIONS:
The 2025 season will include those who fall into these age divisions: 14U, 16U, and 18U as defined in the following chart:

TOURNAMENT COMPOSITION:
2025 teams will play two matches (best out of 3), work one match, and may or may not have one match 'off'.

TOURNAMENT DATES and LOCATIONS
Most tournaments will be held at local high schools in Albemarle County on Saturdays. One tournament is set to be held at Horizon's Edge Sports Campus in Harrisonburg on SUNDAY March 9th. Tournament Dates: 1/25, 2/8, 2/22, 3/9, 3/22.

OFFICIALS:
Players and coaches are required to officiate (R1 and R2), run scoreboard (flip board), judge lines, and keep scorebooks for one match each tournament. Occasionally, we book local refs when available.

PRACTICE SPACE/COACHES/GEAR
Teams outside of ACVC are required to secure their own practice space, coaches, and gear. We simply require payment to secure your spot in the tournaments as well as players and coaches to sign a Release of Liability.
